Career

Kipchoge won back-to-back Olympic marathon titles and set the world record twice, then ran 1:59:40 in a controlled event in Vienna β€” not record-eligible, but the first time the distance had been covered that fast by anyone. His race execution is famously even-paced, almost to the second per kilometre.
